laboratory introduction
the key laboratory of environmental materials and renewable energy in shenzhen was approved in march 2021, and is led by professor zou zhigang, a member of the chinese academy of sciences and the world academy of sciences. the mission of the key laboratory is to construct new semiconductor materials, achieve high-efficiency solar energy conversion, and design distributed solar-powered water-splitting hydrogen production systems based on artificial intelligence technology, aiming to achieve large-scale and efficient utilization of hydrogen energy.

job description
applicants should have:
1.phd degree related to chemistry, electrochemistry, materials, and any related major. research experience in fuel cell and carbon capture materials is preferred.
2.at least two years oversea postdoctoral research experience (negotiable if the candidate is outstanding).
3.organizing capability in research, good communication skills in oral/written english and chinese, and capability to assist in leading a small research team to conduct frontier academic research.
4.good potential in classroom teaching, with the ability to present academic opinions clearly in english.
salary and fringe benefits
salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. appointments will be made under the establishment of cuhk(sz), and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of mainland china as well as cuhk(sz) regulations.
